Casa Trocca
Design collaboration with Alejandro Sticotti for the house of a chef in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 2011.
The project consisted in designing the house for a very famous chef and his family in Buenos Aires. The main focus was the design of the kitchen as it had to achieve all of the requirements. Rustic but sophisticated materials were used to achieve a natural atmosphere both in the exterior and interior. Wood was the main material used to achieve it.
Every detail was well thought through looking at the special needs of the client in relation to his lifestyle and cooking requirements. The ground level was thought as a social space integrating the open kitchen to the living room with wide glass doors to extend the views on the vivid backyard. Designing full height transparent doors the relationship between interior and exterior was easily blurred during warm days.
